Soil Testing & Engineering, Ltd. (STE) is seeking several individuals to assist in providing geotechnical and materials testing services for major highway and airport projects state-wide. With offices in Cleveland, Columbus, and Dayton, STE has provided inspection and materials testing services (mainly aggregates and concrete) on many of the largest highway and airport projects in Ohio, including the I-271 widening, the Burke Airport Pedestrian Bridge, and the Opportunity Corridor. STE has hired undergraduates from Cleveland State, Ohio State, University of Akron, Youngstown State, Ohio Northern, and Ohio University in this position. Materials testing provides students and recent graduates an opportunity to experience the full breadth of major construction projects -- from sub-surface investigations to ribbon-cutting. STE is also involved with testing and inspection for various vertical building projects, including several new schools in Tuscarawas County.
